The Job Training Partnership Act of 1982 (JTPA, Pub. L. 97–300, 29 U.S.C. § 1501, et seq.) was a United States federal law passed October 13, 1982, by Congress with regulations promulgated by the United States Department of Labor during the Ronald Reagan administration.
